So you just graduated school and you’re having a very complicated time finding a career in this job market, what are you going to do? What are the best markets to try to find work in the current economy?

In a new Business Week article, journalist Prashant Gopal, tries to satisfy these questions.

The graduating Generation Y work seekers have an benefit over others since they are youthful, single and common and easy with machinery. For these reasons, they are more expected to be able to transfer and work extended hours. They are also less costly to employers, with both work cost and health insurance (overall). One would believe that with all these benefits, Gen Y job seekers would find employment without problems as that is what employers are looking for.

Well, this is evidently not the case today. Right now, graduates are having a very difficult time finding work even with all the benefits listed.

There are a few fields, though, that original grads are having a bit more fortune in.

Many twentysomethings are having a bit of luck making their own work. Taking their strengths into account, modern grads are opening more online businesses. When opening a corporation, you can imagine a few things: – You will work extensive hours – You will have to be transportable – You must be on familiar terms with technology well and be confident in more than just Microsoft Word. A few other job markets that is typically dominated by twenty somethings and recent college graduates include:

1) The Airline Business – With jobs like flight engineers and aerospace engineers, these jobs need more specialized and qualified employees.

2) Banking – Why not?, bank tellers and analysts are a few of the jobs not closed and amazingly Utah is the best spot to get into this field.

3) Retail Stores – Trade sales is where numerous companines, mainly marketing, students end up after graduation.

4) Computer and electronics – It is always simple to think the electronic and information technology field as a field that is distinct to new graduates. The youngest job seekers have always been the ones that are more likely to know the most about advancements in technology.

6) Administration jobs in DC – The District of Columbia has a lofty median salary for those below 30. At just over $55,000, the middle salary of administration jobs for those below the age of 30 keeps fresh grads attracted in DC.

7) Hospitals – Jobs in nursing offer extraordinary median salaries for recent graduates and the jobs are often ample right out of college.

Of course most of these jobs still aren’t hiring at the rate that people are graduating college. There are still a lot of issues surrounding the fact that extra people are graduating than there are jobs.

Therefore, when you graduate there possibly will have to be a little bit of settling when it comes to solely paying the bills.
